Players costing $6,667 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (vs CHA – $6,400): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.8 fantasy points against Indiana. Brogdon was well down against the Pacers but don’t be worried. He’s been too reliable this season to think it was anything more than an off night. And he gets a great matchup to bounce back against as the Hornets don’t play defense and they are on a back-to-back. Brogdon will return to form in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Kent Bazemore (vs BKN – $5,400): Needs 23 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.2 fantasy points against San Antonio. Bazemore has settled into a nice spot in the last three games and he always plays well against the Nets. He had 40.1 fantasy points when they met on Dec. 16. He’s also at a good salary given his usual minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jaylen Brown (at LAL – $4,900): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 9.2 fantasy points against Sacramento. Brown is a mixed bag and didn’t play well against Sacramento but I expect him to bounce back in this game. Have you seen the Lakers this season? And Brown is a guy who raises his game when he’s against LeBron. Been that way since his rookie season in the playoffs. This feels like a strong performance from Brown. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
