High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs CHA – $12,100): Needs 51.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.9 fantasy points against Indiana. Giannis has been down in the last couple of games, failing to crack 50 fantasy points in four of his last five. Should you be concerned? Well, do you still like getting around 45 fantasy points? That’s really the question to ask. If you want a guaranteed 45 fantasy points minimum, you won’t worry about Giannis’ salary. You’ll take him, get the points, and hope for more. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

LeBron James (vs BOS – $11,400): Needs 48.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.9 fantasy points against Denver. I don’t like LeBron in this game because I don’t know how the minutes restriction is going to come into play. This salary is just too high for a guy who may play only 28 minutes. And while he’ll get his numbers in those 28 minutes, you really need more with this salary and you don’t even know what those numbers will be given the state of the Lakers right now. But it’s LeBron. So who knows. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Kelly Oubre Jr (at POR – $7,500): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.3 fantasy points against New York. Oubre Jr continues to play well for the Suns and while the Blazers can be a tough matchup, this is a matchup he’s done very well against. He’s averaging 40.9 fantasy points in three games against the Blazers this season. Something about Portland brings out the best in him. Must be the Voodoo Donuts. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
