High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Mitchell Robinson (at MIN – $6,000): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.75 fantasy points against Sacramento. The points should be up in this game as neither team plays defense, Robinson is playing less minutes, which is concerning, but his salary has dropped and he’s still putting up numbers even in the limited minutes. The matchup is good simply because the Timberwolves don’t offer much resistance. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Brook Lopez (at SA – $5,300): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against Charlotte. As always, you know what you usually get with Lopez. He’s going to get the minutes and opportunities. It’s just a matter of him hitting and blocking shots. I think he’ll pick up some extra rebounds in this one because of the Spurs pace. He’s sort of a boom or bust type player, which is the only real concern. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Joakim Noah (vs ORL – $4,900): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27 fantasy points against Utah. Noah is now starting because why would you bring the best center in the league off bench? There is no guarantee that he’ll continue to start but why not? It’s not like the Grizzlies have much else going on. Get weird. He’s been fantastic in Memphis and remains at a great salary given his usual minutes and production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
