High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Kent Bazemore (vs NO – $5,100): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 10 fantasy points against Brooklyn. It’s a back-to-back for the Suns and Bazemore has been very inconsistent this season, but the Pelicans are a great matchup because they struggle against all DFS positions. Bazemore’s minutes were down against the Nets, which is worrisome. I still like the matchup on Sunday but don’t have a great read on how much he will be playing. You can always go with Malcolm Brogdon if you want a reliable option.

Derrick Rose (vs NY – $5,000): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.25 fantasy points against Washington. It’s a back-to-back for both teams and Rose’s minutes are down but it’s the Knicks. And Rose always wants to play well against his former super team. He had 31.5 fantasy points in 23 minutes against them on Feb. 22. His salary has also dropped to a very reasonable level given his usual production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Terrence Ross (at MEM – $4,800): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.75 fantasy points against Dallas. Ross has been more good than bad during this recent run, but his bad games have been really bad. Still, he usually has a strong two or three games before bottoming out. And he’s only on a one game streak right now. So, by that logic, he should be in for a big night in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
