High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Taj Gibson (vs NY – $4,800): Needs 21 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.6 fantasy points against Washington. Boy is it rough at the value power forward position with all of these injuries. You have to go all the way down to Gibson to get someone who is guaranteed to play. And Gibson isn’t guaranteed to play because he just isn’t playing a ton of minutes right now. But it’s the Knicks and Gibson has put up good numbers even in limited minutes. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

PJ Tucker (at DAL – $4,800): Needs 21 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.1 fantasy points against Philadelphia. One guy who does get guaranteed minutes is Tucker. He has to do less with the Rockets finally being healthy, but the minutes and opportunities are still there for him, which helps his case. The matchup is a good one and he’ll get points, just probably not a whole lot. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Dario Saric (vs NY – $4,300): Needs 18.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.7 fantasy points against Washington. Saric typically gets more minutes than Gibson, but Gibson has done more in the production department. Still, it’s the Knicks. Saric should find some type of scoring rhythm while getting plenty of rebounds against the Knicks. He’s more reliable than Gibson, but Gibson has the higher ceiling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
