High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Bobby Portis (vs SAC – $5,900): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41 fantasy points against Minnesota. Portis broke the trend and has had two back-to-back strong games. He’s now been over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. And now he gets the Kings. Portis should be in for another strong night given the matchup on Monday. He’s been good more often than not for the Wizards. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Derrick Favors (vs OKC – $5,800): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.2 fantasy points against Memphis. Favors has been up-and-down in his last four games. He was down against the Grizzlies, so if the trend holds, he’ll be back up in this game. I expect the trend to hold given the matchup. Favors is a Thunder killer and is averaging 34.1 fantasy points in three games against them this season, including a 46.75 fantasy point effort against them on Feb. 22. Diagnosis:

Jerami Grant (at UTA – $4,900): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.5 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Grant has been held under 20 fantasy points in two of his last three games. But this is a matchup that he’s done very well against this season, averaging 28.6 fantasy points in three games against Utah, including 36 fantasy points against them on Feb. 22. The minutes and opportunities are always there for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
