FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 11, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Paul George (at UTA – $10,600): Needs 44.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.7 fantasy points against LA Clippers. George has been more bad than good as of late and it’s obvious that his shoulder is still bothering him. He’s been fantastic against the Jazz this year, averaging 67.4 fantasy points in three games against them. But I don’t trust him right now, especially at this salary. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.
Kawhi Leonard (at CLE – $9,800): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.2 fantasy points against New Orleans. Will Kawhi play in this game? I don’t know. I never know with Kawhi. I’m not even sure the Raptors know what Kawhi is going to do until just before the game. If he plays, he’ll have a fine game but the Raptors probably won’t need him to be great against the Cavaliers. And they may end up getting him some more rest as a result. He’ll get you something, I just don’t know how much it’ll be. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent.
Danilo Gallinari (vs BOS – $7,300): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.2 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Gallinari is back to being his reliable self, which is good news for DFS players. The Celtics can be a tough matchup but Gallinari remains at a good salary given his usual production and minutes. And the Celtics are bound to slip a bit on this road trip, especially against a team as good as the Clippers. Gallinari will get you value if nothing else and probably a bit more. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
