Atlantic 10

  • Dates: March 13-17
  • Location: Brooklyn, NY
  • Top Seed: VCU

One of the top mid-major leagues in the country, the Atlantic 10 has fallen on hard times of late. The A-10 only sent three teams to the NCAA Tournament a year ago and may get only one this season if VCU wins the conference tournament.

The Rams have been the most consistent team in the A-10 all season and boast a solid resume, so they could be safe if they lose late enough in the process. Another team to watch here is Davidson, which won their way into March Madness last year by winning the automatic bid in Brooklyn.

Wildcats’ star Kellen Grady, who averaged 17.1 ppg during the regular season, will look to recapture some of last year’s magic in Brooklyn. A sneaky sleeper could be no. 3 seed Dayton, which won five of its last seven games, including a victory over Davidson and a one-point loss to VCU.

Prediction: VCU
