High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Robin Lopez (vs LAL – $5,700): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18 fantasy points against Detroit. Lopez was down against the Pistons but don’t be too concerned. He’s been good during this recent stretch and it’s the Lakers. I’m taking anyone against the Lakers, especially the Lakers on the road. The Bulls might not be good but they aren’t the Lakers. Who would have thought? Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jakob Poeltl (at DAL – $4,600): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Poeltl has settled into a decent spot for the Spurs and become part of their reliable rotation. The salary is good given his usual minutes and production and I don’t hate the matchup because the Mavericks don’t have much of an interior. Poeltl will keep it going. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Enes Kanter (at LAC – $4,300): Needs 20.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25 fantasy points against Phoenix. Kanter still isn’t playing many minutes but he’s always been a guy who has made the most of those minutes. And the Clippers lack a good frontcourt while also being on a back-to-back. This just feels like a big game for Kanter who is waiting for a double-double outing. A gut feeling, admittedly. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
