Players costing $6,250 or under

Darren Collison (vs NY – $5,900): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24 fantasy points against Philadelphia. It’s the Knicks. The Pacers haven’t been great against great teams (losing a superstar sucks). But it’s the Knicks. This will be an easy bounce back performance for Collison and the rest of the Pacers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Malcolm Brogdon (at NO – $5,400): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 8.25 fantasy points against San Antonio. Brogdon has been down more than you’d like in his last few games but this is too good of a matchup to pass up on. The Pelicans don’t offer much in the way of defense and Brogdon has been too good this season to keep struggling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Frank Jackson (vs MIL – $5,100): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Atlanta. For the same reason I like Payton, I like Jackson. Even though the matchup is tough, the injury to Holiday will open things up for the Pelicans. And Jackson has been very good in recent contests in Holiday’s absence. The circumstances are great despite the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
