High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Domantas Sabonis (vs NY – $5,700): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Sabonis is back and even though he hasn’t played as many minutes as you’d like at this salary, he’s had strong games despite the limited minutes. You can always go with Thaddeus Young who has been a reliable option for most of the season. But Sabonis has the higher ceiling. It’s the Knicks either way. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Taj Gibson (at DEN – $5,600): Needs 27 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against New York. If Towns is still out of the lineup, it will mean Gibson will be the top frontcourt option once again. He’s not Towns but someone has to get these numbers in the Timberwolves frontcourt. And the matchup is tough but the circumstances are too good to pass up on. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Nikola Mirotic (at NO – $4,700): Needs 22.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17 fantasy points against San Antonio. Mirotic hasn’t found his rhythm with the Bucks but now it’s a revenge game. And he’s fairly comfortable in the Pelicans arena, which is maybe just what he needs to get himself on track in Milwaukee. He’s at a good salary and still gets his minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
