High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (vs CLE – $10,300): Needs 46.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.4 fantasy points against Indiana. I’m not doubting Embiid. He’s been too good this season and now he gets the Cavaliers. This could be a blowout but if it’s a blowout, it’ll be due to Embiid putting up huge numbers. And I fully expect Embiid to put up huge numbers. Because that’s what he does. The ceiling is limited due to the blowout potential. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jusuf Nurkic (at LAC – $9,000): Needs 40.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.3 fantasy points against Phoenix. The Clippers are weak against the position and on a back-to-back. Nurkic typically gets the minutes and has played well against the Clippers this season, averaging 1.49 FPPM in three games. As long as the minutes are there, he’ll deliver without question. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Myles Turner (vs NY – $7,500): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Once again, Turner and the Pacers were down against the Sixers. But he was playing well prior to the Sixers game and now he gets the Knicks. He should have a strong bounce-back performance because it’s the Knicks. I love Turner on Tuesday, even if it turns into a blowout. He should gobble up boards. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
