High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Brook Lopez (at NO – $6,100): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28 fantasy points against San Antonio. As always, you typically know what you’re getting out of Lopez. The minutes and opportunities are there for him and he has a high ceiling because of his shooting and shot blocking ability. The matchup is good though Lopez can be a bit boom or bust if shots aren’t falling and he’s missing blocks. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Robin Lopez (vs LAL – $5,500): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.2 fantasy points against Detroit. Lopez was down against the Pistons but don’t worry. The Lakers are a much better matchup and opposing frontcourt players usually have an easy time against them because the Lakers offer very little in their frontcourt. And Lopez has been playing well prior to the Pistons game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Ivica Zubac (vs POR – $5,400): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.4 fantasy points against Boston. Zubac has been playing well and even though it’s a back-to-back, the Clippers need anything they can get out of their frontcourt and Zubac has been their best option on most nights. He’ll have his hands full with Kanter and Nurkic but that’s even more reason to take him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
