2019 NFL Draft: Cleveland Browns full mock draft
By Joe Romano
Round 2 – Pick 49
Rock Ya-Sin, CB, Temple
Even though the Browns do not own a first round pick, they will be able to add talent. This is a deep draft class and will allow them to let the board fall into their laps. Last year Dorsey did just that to land Austin Corbett and Nick Chubb in round two. Both players enter the new year as starters and a big part of the team’s offense.
This year they can do the same and grab the best linebacker, safety or corner available at the 49th pick. In this mock draft that is Rock Ya-Sin from Temple. The big corner would be a welcomed addition to this defense to play opposite Denzel Ward. The two actually compliment each other very well
Ya-Sin is a fringe first round prospect but the lack of elite talent atop the corner class could push them all down the boards. That is good news for Cleveland. A bigger corner with excellent length, Ya-Sin had the skill set to play on the outside. His 4.51 40 yard dash is a tick slow but given his size and impact he can have at the line of scrimmage, it is fine. It was no surprise to see him dominate the bench press given that press ability. His biggest concern is lateral agility where he struggled in testing. His ball skills and other traits are enough to get him drafted and he will help a defense like Cleveland.
