Round 5 – Pick 144

Kingsley Keke, DT, Texas A&M

Kinglsey Keke is a weird evaluation. There are flashes where he looks like a dominant interior pass rusher that can move around lineman in a hurry. Other times he gets washed out of plays and completely dominated. His role in the NFL will likely be a depth piece and a player that can grow into an interior rusher role. For the Browns he gives them more pieces up front to continue building their defensive line.

Round 5 – Pick 170

Jalhani Tavai, LB, Hawaii

Jalhani Tavai is an underrated prospect coming out of Hawaii. Cleveland needs depth at linebacker after releasing Jamie Collins. Joe Schobert and Genard Avery are the starters in place but they’ll need pieces to go with them. Tavai could be the short down specialist for this time. He excels at getting to the backfield but is limited athletically and in space. Tavai could also be a special teams contributor as well.

Round 6 – Pick 189

Jarrett Stidham, QB, Auburn

Dorsey’s got a successful track record of finding quarterbacks. This time, in a change of pace, he’s looking for a back-up to uber successful rookie Baker Mayfield. Stidham’s got the pedigree and arm talent to be a great back-up in Cleveland. He lacks arm strength and struggles with pressure. What he does well though is throw with great anticipation and accuracy. Given the weapons in Cleveland they could do a lot worse than Stidham this late in the draft.

Round 7 – Pick 221

Jordan Brailford, EDGE, Oklahoma State

An underrated edge prospect, Jordan Brailford has some NFL traits that will get him drafted. Inconsistency and issues with his size push him down the board. What he can do is be a hybrid defender between linebacker and defensive end. Essentially Brailford can be a poor man’s Jamie Collins type player who can rush the passer or be a linebacker. This gives the defense flexibility in the front seven. With some refinement Brailford can develop into a pass rush specialist down the road.
