High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Vucevic (at WAS – $9,200): Needs 44.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48 fantasy points against Memphis. You can typically count on Vucevic and you can definitely count on Vucevic against the Wizards. The points and rebounds will be there for him and he’ll contribute with assists and some defense. If Aaron Gordon doesn’t play, more opportunities will be there for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Clint Capela (vs GS – $7,100): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.25 fantasy points against Charlotte. Capela has started to find his game and now he gets the Warriors. It’s a tough matchup on most nights for him but this Warriors team feels different. Until this Warriors team decides they aren’t going to screw around anymore and put a beating on everyone in their path. He’ll get numbers and the potential is huge if the Warriors are broken. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jonas Valanciunas (at ATL – $6,800): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against Orlando. Valanciunas has been playing well for the Grizzlies and as I mentioned earlier, the Hawks will make sure players on the Grizzlies get their numbers. And Valanciunas has been getting his numbers against much better teams. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
