High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Blake Griffin (at MIA – $8,100): Needs 38.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.25 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Griffin has been more down than up as of late and I’m not in love with the matchup. Miami is a tough matchup due to their lack of pace and they are a good team at home. Meanwhile, the Pistons are all over the place and Griffin, while having a high ceiling, isn’t getting numbers right now. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

John Collins (vs MEM – $7,600): Needs 36.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.5 fantasy points against New Orleans. Collins has picked his game up as of late but I’m not in love with this matchup. Memphis can slow the game down and make it tough on the Hawks, especially a guy like Collins. The Hawks will push the pace and help Memphis players, I’m not sure if Memphis players will help the Hawks. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Bobby Portis (vs ORL – $6,200): Needs 29.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.25 fantasy points against Sacramento. Portis is over his up-and-down trend and is just up. He’s been playing great basketball for the Wizards more often than not and it’s a good matchup. The points should be there for him in this game as the points will be there for everyone in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
