DraftKings lineup options for The Players Championship

Here’s where we get into the various DraftKings daily fantasy golf lineups that you could potentially play for The Players Championship. We’ll look at a Stars and Scrubs and then load up on mid-tier players for two lineups, but then I’ll offer my best lineup choice for the week at TPC Sawgrass.

Stars and Scrubs

Harold Varner III ($6,500)
Trey Mullinax ($6,000)

The value of Varner and the recent consistency of Mullinax at these price points really make a stars and scrubs approach quite attractive this week. Those guys afford you the opportunity to get some more low-end top-tier players in the lineup that could have tremendous upside for you in your contest of choice.

Mid-Tier Loadup

Xander Schauffele ($9,000)
Tommy Fleetwood ($8,800)
Francesco Molinari ($8,600)
Adam Scott ($8,200)
Paul Casey ($7,900)
Gary Woodland ($7,500)

Another attractive DraftKings lineup here. Because of how loaded the field at The Players is, you can find some terrific players in the mid-tier and this is certainly evidence of that. The big flier in the group is Woodland, without question. However, if he can recapture his early-season form, he should only help to bolster a strong group for you.

While I love the mid-tier for the field at The Players Championship, I have to stick with the high-end guys that I’m really buying this week and this lineup has them with Rory, Schauffele and Fleetwood. That, coupled with Fitzpatrick’s play this season and Varner’s history at TPC Sawgrass, this lineup is looking like a winner to me.
