The Minnesota Vikings head into the 2019 offseason with a lot of questions when it comes to their roster, as they failed to make the playoffs last season. Coming off a year that saw them go to the NFC Championship Game, the Vikings were at least expected to challenge for a Wild Card spot, especially after spending a ton of money on their franchise quarterback.

Kirk Cousins replaced Case Keenum as the starter in Minnesota, and was supposed to be the piece that got them over the hump. Instead, this team  took a major step backward, and while Cousins put up good numbers, like he normally does, the Vikings were not better with him under center over Keenum.

This offseason, Minnesota has to do something when it comes to the offensive line, as the unit as a whole was atrocious last season. One player who stands out as someone who could really help them in year one is Cody Ford from Oklahoma, who could slide in as a starter at one of the guard spots in 2019.

Ford spent the last two seasons blocking for Heisman  Trophy winning quarterbacks, and was an absolute mauler in the trenches for the Sooners. The Vikings also should have an improved Dalvin Cook back next season, so with a few of the right moves this offseason, they could once again be a playoff team.
