Players costing $6,250 or under

Darren Collison (vs OKC – $6,000): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.75 fantasy points against New York. I love Collison at this salary because he continues to play well and I like this matchup with the Thunder being on a back-to-back. You typically know what you’re getting out of Collison and even though the Thunder defense has been better, the back-to-back means they’ll likely slip. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jalen Brunson (at DEN – $5,300): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.25 fantasy points against San Antonio. Brunson continues to play well for the Mavericks and if Doncic is out of the lineup, he’s going to be about the only option in the backcourt. Unless you want to trust Tim Hardaway Jr. The matchup is tough but Brunson is playing well and is at a good salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Collin Sexton (at ORL – $5,000): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Sexton has picked up his game as the season has worn on and he has a good matchup against the Magic, who are on a back-to-back and play down to their competition. Trust him to keep this roll going. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
