Players costing over $6,250

Donovan Mitchell (vs MIN – $8,300): Needs 39.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.25 fantasy points against Phoenix. It’s a back-to-back for the Jazz but the Timberwolves don’t pose much of a defensive threat, especially with all their injuries. And Mitchell is by far the top offensive option for the Jazz. He’ll get his numbers given the opponent. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Buddy Hield (at BOS – $7,300): Needs 34 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.5 fantasy points against Washington. Hield has been down a bit in the last couple of games but he always plays well against the Celtics. The Celtics will be better at home and the Kings season is hanging by a thread so they know they have to bring it. Trust this matchup with him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jamal Murray (vs DAL – $6,400): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.75 fantasy points against Minnesota. I love Murray in this game because he’s at a good salary compared to the rest of the high salary field, he’s been playing very well, the Mavericks aren’t good on the road, and the could be without Luka. A blowout is possible, which would be the only thing to hurt him in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
