Players costing over $6,250

LeBron James (vs DET – $10,300): Needs 47.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.5 fantasy points against Toronto. There’s a chance that the Lakers hold LeBron out because they’ve said they’ll play him less down the stretch with the season over. But assuming he plays, even if the minutes are limited, you have to trust him to deliver. The Pistons are a wreck right now and even though I expect them to be better. Maybe not? Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs NY – $8,600): Needs 41.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.25 fantasy points against Dallas. Much like with DeRozan, there is a chance that the Spurs don’t exactly need Aldridge to be himself in this game because it’s the Knicks. But the rebounds should be there for him and he’ll get his points because everyone gets points against the Knicks. A slight risk just because the matchup is almost too good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Blake Griffin (vs LAL – $7,700): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26 fantasy points against Miami. I don’t know what’s going on with the Pistons but I have to trust this matchup. The Lakers aren’t good and they are on a back-to-back. The Pistons offense can be held under 75 points for a third straight game, can they? No against this defense, right? Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
