High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (vs SAC – $10,900): Needs 49 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.3 fantasy points against Cleveland. You know what you’re getting out of Embiid. He’s been fantastic all season and he’ll be fantastic against the Kings because everyone is fantastic against the Kings. A blowout might be in play but Embiid will get his numbers even in a blowout. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jusuf Nurkic (at NO – $8,700): Needs 39.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.4 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Nurkic’s minutes have been down as the Blazers haven’t needed him too much. I’m not sure how much they’ll need him against an overmatched Pelicans team but he’s settled into a good enough salary and if his minutes are up, he’ll get his numbers. Drummond has a great matchup against the Lakers. His ceiling is higher but Nurkic is more reliable. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Clint Capela (vs PHO – $8,300): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.1 fantasy points against Golden State. You pretty much know what you’re going to get out of Capela based on the last week. He’s settled back in following the injury and he gets to go up against the Suns. He should get plenty of rebounds and easy points in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
