4. All Elite Wrestling’s Kenny Omega

If WWE had their way a month ago, this match could have most certainly happened. The company made a very strong offer to try to sign Kenny Omega after his contract with New Japan ended earlier this year, however, the Best Bout Machine decided to sign with his friends at AEW instead.

There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Angle and Omega would have put on an instant classic if they had been given the chance. Their styles would have clicked and the story they could have told in that ring would have been a beautiful one, for certain.

Besides Punk, the Cleaner is the only wrestler on this list that as far as we know won’t be in the New York area on WrestleMania weekend. It’s clear AEW is biding it’s time for future announcements and are smart enough to know they don’t want to get lost in the shuffle of WrestleMania season. We can only hope Angle’s final match gets the respect it deserves and doesn’t get lost in the mid-card of a stacked ‘Mania show.
