Players costing over $6,250

Rudy Gobert (vs BKN – $8,000): Needs 38.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Minnesota. Gobert has been a bit up-and-down recently but this is a matchup that I love. The Nets don’t have much of a frontcourt presence and Gobert should have no issue getting his points and rebounds while also chipping in with defense. He had 58.5 fantasy points against them in November. The Nets are better but the weakness is the same. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Love (at DAL – $7,800): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22 fantasy points against Orlando. Love may have been down against the Magic but I’m not concerned. The Mavericks don’t have the frontcourt to stop Love when he’s really on his game. And he’s been on his game more often than not since returning from injury. Expect him to bounce back with a strong performance. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (at OKC – $7,600): Needs 36.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50 fantasy points against Houston. The return of Durant will cut into Cousins’ production a little bit but I love this matchup for him as something is wrong with Steven Adams and nothing is wrong with DeMarcus Cousins when it comes to getting his numbers. He’ll have a strong performance in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
