High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Rudy Gobert (vs BKN – $9,400): Needs 42 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.1 fantasy points against Minnesota. Gobert hasn’t flashed a really high ceiling as of late but overall I like his game and I really like this matchup due to the Nets lack of frontcourt presence. The points and rebounds will be there for him and he’ll come up with a defensive play or three. He had 60.7 fantasy points against the Nets on Nov. 28. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (at OKC – $8,800): Needs 39.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.1 fantasy points against Houston. The return of Kevin Durant hurts Cousins a little bit but he’s replacing Draymond the “do it all” guy and he typically gets the better of Steven Adams. Cousins has been good more often than not for the Warriors and it’s easy for him to be good with the talent around him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jusuf Nurkic (at SA – $8,600): Needs 38.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.9 fantasy points against New Orleans. I don’t exactly like going against the Spurs at home but Nurkic has played well against them, averaging 1.24 FPPM in three games. They’ll definitely need him to log minutes because the Spurs are going to pick on Kanter whenever he’s in the game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
