High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Steven Adams (vs GS – $6,200): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.1 fantasy points against Indiana. Adams’ role has been diminished and I don’t like the matchup against Cousins. But the Thunder like to utilize Adams a lot against the Warriors. Though he hasn’t had to face Cousins this season, he is averaging 41.2 fantasy points in two games against the Warriors. The minutes and opportunities are there for him if nothing else. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Enes Kanter (at SA – $5,200): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.6 fantasy points agains New Orleans. While you can’t play Kanter for his defense, you can play him for his offense and rebounding. And the Blazers probably aren’t worried about his minutes in the regular season. A Kanter/Nurkic frontcourt could do damage against San Antonio. He’s playing enough minutes to justify taking him because he gets numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Joakim Noah (at WAS – $5,000): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.1 fantasy points against Atlanta. Why wouldn’t you take the best center in the league? Especially against the Wizards. Noah’s game is on point right now and against this matchup, he should be in for a big night. Even in limited minutes, he’ll take advantage of the matchup and get his numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
