High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Damian Lillard (at SA – $9,900): Needs 43 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.3 fantasy points against New Orleans. It’s a back-to-back for both teams but the Spurs got some rest because they played the Knicks and they are at home. But Lillard has done well in this matchup this year, averaging 52.4 fantasy points in three games against the Spurs. These two teams are battling for playoff positioning and that will bring out the best in Lillard. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Mike Conley (at WAS – $8,900): Needs 38.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.3 fantasy points against Atlanta. Even in limited minutes, Conley had a good outing against the Hawks. And now he gets the Wizards, who are on a back-to-back. Conley has been playing well in recent contests and I have to trust that he’ll keep it up in this matchup. The Wizards don’t play defense although both teams have incentive to lose. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Darren Collison (at DEN – $7,400): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.7 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. As for a salary saver at the high salary position, I love Collison’s game right now. The Nuggets can be a tough matchup but their defense has slipped and the Pacers just find ways to hang in these games. Collison continues to play very well and should be able to keep it going in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
