Genoa face Juventus at Luigi Ferraris Stadium on Sunday, March 17. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Juventus are undefeated in Serie A this season and are running away with the Scudetto for the eighth straight season. On Sunday, Juve go to Luigi Ferraris Stadium to play Genoa. Juventus are 18 points ahead of second place Napoli and 48 points ahead of Genoa, who are 13th in the table. While Genoa have no chance of qualifying for Europe, they have very little chance of being relegated. The Griffin are nine points above the relegation zone.
Genoa lost 1-0 against Parma last weekend. The loss ended a six-game unbeaten streak. Genoa have struggled to score goals since selling Krzysztof Piatek in the winter window to AC Milan. Piatek scored 13 goals in the first half of the season and Genoa scored 25 in their first 19 games. In their last eight games, Genoa have scored only seven goals and have been held without a goal in their last three games. Christian Kouame is the leading scorer left on the team with four goals this season.
Juventus advanced to the quarterfinal of the Champions League on Tuesday after coming from behind to beat Atletico Madrid 3-0. Cristiano Ronaldo scored all three goals, justifying the massive fee that Juventus paid Real Madrid for the Portuguese superstar. Ronaldo has 24 goals in all competitions this season, including 19 goals in Serie A. With Juventus running away with the Serie A title, Massimiliano Allegri will likely rotate his squad and rest key players against Genoa.
