Players costing over $6,250

Karl-Anthony Towns (at HOU – $10,000): Needs 48.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.5 fantasy points against Utah. You typically know what you’re getting out of Towns at this point. Even in limited minutes because sometimes he can’t stay out of foul trouble, he’s putting up big numbers without an issue. And he typically plays very well against the Rockets. Numbers are just not an issue for Towns. He’ll get numbers in all categories and have another big game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (vs ATL – $9,200): Needs 44.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.75 fantasy points against Cleveland. Vucevic was down due to minutes against the Cavaliers. Even in limited minutes, he’ll do enough in this game to get you value. Everyone has a big game against the Hawks and with the Hawks being on a back-to-back, the circumstances are even better for Vucevic. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Clint Capela (vs MIN – $7,600): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Phoenix. Capela has settled into his spot and this has been his matchup over the last two years. Capela made his money by getting the better of Towns in the playoffs and while this is a better Towns, no Harden means Capela will have to do a bit more to lift the Rockets. If nothing else, he should get you value. But expect more given the matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
