High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Harrison Barnes (vs CHI – $5,900): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Barnes has settled into a decent rhythm with the Kings and it’s a shame that his salary has climbed because he’s slightly less reliable because of it. He typically plays very well against the Bulls but those were different circumstances. He’s not quite the same option in Sacramento. He should still be around value and his ceiling is high. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Rodions Kurucs (at LAC – $4,600): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.25 fantasy points against Utah. It was a rough outing for most Brooklyn players against the Jazz. The circumstances aren’t much better with it being a back-to-back and the Clippers having plenty to play for with playoff positioning. But he’s been good as a starter and I have to trust him to bounce back given how well he’s been playing as the starter. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

PJ Tucker (vs MIN – $4,100): Needs 19 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.25 fantasy points against Phoenix. The minutes and opportunities are always there for Tucker and he typically finds his way into enough numbers to get you value. I like the matchup and if Harden is out, Tucker is the guy who Paul seems to trust the most. He’ll have to battle with a decent Minnesota frontcourt and very few battle like Tucker. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
