FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 17, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Trae Young (at ORL – $8,200): Needs 35.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.8 fantasy points against Boston. It’s a back-to-back for the Hawks but they had an early game so the extra rest will hopefully help. And it’s not a very deep night with only four games. Young has been good more often than not since the break and the matchup is good. Even though he hasn’t played well against the Magic this season, he’ll bounce back with a solid performance here. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Chris Paul (vs MIN – $8,100): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.7 fantasy points against Golden State. No James Harden (and really, they should rest him against this match) means a lot more of Chris Paul. Even if Harden plays, Paul is reliable enough to at least get you value. And if Harden doesn’t play, that’s even better news for Paul’s value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
De’Aaron Fox (vs CHI – $8,000): Needs 34.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.4 fantasy points against Philadelphia. If you want to save money, you can go with Dinwiddie. This should be. An offensive showdown. I like Fox’s ceiling a bit more and he gets more minutes and opportunities as the starter on a high pace team. Either way, both guys should be in for a huge night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
