High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Buddy Hield (vs CHI – $6,700): Needs 28 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Hield has been up-and-down in recent contests but he was down against the Sixers, so if the trend holds, he should be up in this one. And it’s the Bulls. As I’ve been saying, the offense as a whole should be up in this game and Hield has a high ceiling with his scoring. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Terrence Ross (vs ATL – $5,900): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.8 fantasy points against Cleveland. Ross’ trend seems pretty easy to figure out right now. He’s up big for two or three games, he bottoms out, and then he bounces back. He’s due another up game and he gets the Hawks. This should definitely be an up game for him. He’s averaging 33.4 fantasy points in two games against the Hawks this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Huerter (at ORL – $5,300): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME –
20.5 fantasy points against Boston. A quick note on Eric Grodon: if James Harden doesn’t end up playing, you can take Gordon with confidence as he’ll be the second option against a bad defense. As for Huerter, he’s playing well right now and the Magic are a good matchup. If nothing else, he’ll get you value. But if Harden doesn’t play, Gordon has the higher ceiling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
