High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Marc Gasol (vs NY – $6,200): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – fantasy points against. No Ibaka means Gasol should continue to get good minutes in the Raptors frontcourt. It’s a back-to-back for both teams but one team is the Knicks. This should be a good chance for the Raptors to work on things and continue to get Gasol more comfortable on the team. They’ll need him to be better going into the playoffs if they hope to reach their potential. The circumstances are good for him and he’ll come up with a strong performance. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

DeAndre Jordan (at TOR – $5,800): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.75 fantasy points against LA Lakers. I still don’t know if Jordan is going to get the minutes on a nightly basis but he’s getting them right now so you may as well take advantage of that. The Raptors can be a tough matchup but they’ll likely rest Leonard and go through the motions in what amounts to a pretty meaningless game for them. Jordan remains at a good salary as long as the minute continue to be there. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Steven Adams (vs MIA – $5,500): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.75 fantasy points against Golden State. Adams has settled into a nice salary given his recent production. Minutes are never an issue for him and with Westbrook out of the lineup, he should come into more rebounds and scoring opportunities. Expect him to be featured more against the Heat with no Westbrook. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
