High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Kyrie Irving (vs DEN – $9,100): Needs 44.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 65.25 fantasy points against Atlanta. Aside from a rough outing against the Clippers, Kyrie has been over 55 fantasy points in three of his last four games. If it’s a big game, Kyrie knows how to raise his level. And this is a big game as the Nuggets are a tough time who can trouble the Celtics. But the Celtics are at home and I’m not doubting Kyrie right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Devin Booker (vs CHI – $8,500): Needs 40.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 67.25 fantasy points against New Orleans. Booker has been rolling in his last four games and now he gets the Bulls on a back-to-back. I always say that no one is more second half Devin Booker because he has nothing to play for except his numbers and his money. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Elfrid Payton (at DAL – $7,500): Needs 36.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 61.75 fantasy points against Phoenix. As long as Holiday is still out of the lineup, you can take Payton with confidence. He’s been over 50 fantasy points in four straight games, raising his number each game. He probably won’t be over 60 fantasy points here, but the matchup is great and there’s no denying the way Payton is playing right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
