Players costing $6,250 or under

Jamal Murray (at BOS – $6,100): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.25 fantasy points against Indiana. Murray cooled off a bit against the Pacers but otherwise, he’s been great since the break and Boston is a team that he continues to get the better of. He had 60.25 fantasy points against them on Nov. 5 and is averaging 49.3 fantasy points against them in his last three games. This is just his matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Collin Sexton (vs DET – $5,700): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.75 fantasy points against Dallas. Sexton is making the most of this final third of the season, going over 30 fantasy points in five straight games. I don’t know what to make of the Pistons right now but they are on a back-to-back and I’m not sure they are all that good in the first place. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Dennis Schroder (vs MIA – $5,100): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20 fantasy points against Golden State. No Russell Westbrook means plenty of Schroder. He’s averaging 37 fantasy points as a starter this season when Westbrook or George have missed a game. He’s going to get more minutes and opportunities and he’ll put up big numbers due to the circumstances. Take advantage of Westbrook’s suspension with a big game by Schroder. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
