DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 18, 2019
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jalen Brunson (vs NO – $6,100): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.5 fantasy points against Cleveland. Brunson has continued to play well for the Mavericks and now he gets a great matchup against a Pelicans team that doesn’t play defense. His ceiling will increase of Luka is out, but his reliability goes down because there is more attention on him. Still, this matchup is too good for him to not deliver. This game should have plenty of offense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Damyean Dotson (at TOR – $5,300): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Dotson keeps delivering for the Knicks. He’s about the only guy who you can count on to get consistent minutes for the Knicks because everyone else’s minutes are all over the place. The matchup is tough but someone has to get these numbers for the Knicks and the Raptors probably won’t turn it up too much simply because they don’t have to. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Rodney Hood (vs IND – $3,700): Needs 17.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.25 fantasy points against San Antonio. This is all over the circumstances. With McCollum out of the lineup, someone will have to step up for the Blazers. It might not be Hood, but it will likely be the guy who starts next to Lillard. And if it’s Hood, then he has the scoring chops to make an impact. He’s been pretty bad as a member of the Blazers but the circumstances are too good to pass up on. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
