High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (vs MIA – $9,700): Needs 45 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.75 fantasy points against Golden State. Paul George looks to be Paul George again, which is great news for his value. And with Westbrook is out of the lineup, much of the offense will fall on the shoulders of George. He had 67.25 fantasy points against the Heat on Feb. 1. This feels like a huge game for George given the circumstances. Or he’ll flame out because the Thunder are weird. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMar DeRozan (vs GS – $7,800): Needs 36.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37 fantasy points against Portland. DeRozan has settled into a nice rhythm and who knows how the Warriors are going to play this game. They could come out and view the Spurs as a threat, thus obliterating them. Or they could just go through the motions because they aren’t worried about the Spurs in the playoffs. DeRozan typically plays well against them, averaging 46.3 fantasy points in his last three games against the Warriors. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Kelly Oubre Jr (vs CHI – $6,500): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.5 fantasy points against New Orleans. He’s the best small forward in the league for a reason and he’s playing fantastic right now. He’s been over 44 fantasy points in his last two games and even though his salary has jumped, don’t let that stop you from taking him. He does a bit of everything and he’s up against the Bulls, who are on a back-to-back. They should be an easy night at the office for Oubre given his play since the trade and matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
