High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Julius Randle (at DAL – $8,000): Needs 38.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.25 fantasy points against Phoenix. You sort of know what you’re getting from Randle right now. The minutes and opportunities are there in a big way thanks to the injuries and Anthony Davis being Anthony Davis. The Mavericks don’t have a lot going on in their frontcourt and Randle should easily be able to take advantage of them. He had 41 fantasy points against them on Dec. 28 and is averaging 42.8 fantasy points in three games against them this season. He’ll deliver once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs NY – $6,800): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME fantasy points against . No Ibaka means more Siakam. And it’s the Knicks. And it’s the Knicks on a back-to-back. This could end up being a blowout, which would obviously hurt Siakam’s value. But he’s been so good this season and the salary is great so even in limited minutes, he’ll get his numbers. You can always take Siakam with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Paul Millsap (at BOS – $6,600): Needs 31.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.75 fantasy points against Indiana. Millsap continues to get it done for the Nuggets. As I’ve been saying for the last couple of weeks, Millsap is a guy who can raise his game for the playoff push and I suspect that he’ll continue to raise his game. Especially against this matchup. They’ll need Millsap to get those tough rebounds and points and he’ll deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
