High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Rudy Gobert (at WAS – $9,600): Needs 42.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.9 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Gobert can be a bit all over the place and his salary doesn’t do him a ton of favors but he gets to go up against the Wizards on Monday. You have to trust him against the Wizards. The points and rebounds should be there for him and he’ll chip in with a couple of defensive plays. He might not be the most reliable option at the center position and his ceiling is the highest. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jusuf Nurkic (vs IND – $8,900): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.2 fantasy points against San Antonio. The minutes should be there in a big way for Nurkic and if the minutes are there, the production will be there. They’re going to need Nurkic to step up with McCollum out of the lineup and they’ll need him to step up against the Pacers frontcourt. He’ll deliver. It’s a good matchup and better circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Marc Gasol (vs NY – $7,000): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.2 fantasy points against Detroit. No Ibaka means more Gasol. And he’s starting to play better for the Raptors due to those circumstances. And now he gets the Knicks. This should be a game where he gets more comfortable in the Raptors offense, doing a bit of everything. He showed flashes of it against the Pistons and the Knicks are a much better matchup. And if Kawhi and Lowry are out the lineup, more will run through Gasol. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
