High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Kyrie Irving (vs DEN – $10,500): Needs 45.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 62.7 fantasy points against Atlanta. Kyrie is rolling right now and this is a tough matchup. You can almost always count on Kyrie in these tough matchups, especially at home. He’s doing a bit of everything right now and you know he wants to go at Murray on every possession. Kyrie is petty. We know this. He’ll keep it going in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Elfrid Payton (at DAL – $9,300): Needs 40.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54.6 fantasy points against Phoenix. Payton has been fantastic during the last week. With the Pelicans missing Holiday, someone has to step up in their backcourt. And Payton has been that guy for the Pelicans. His salary is climbing, but I have no doubt about Payton’s game right now, especially against a matchup as good as the Mavericks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jamal Murray (at BOS – $7,100): Needs 31 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.1 fantasy points against Indiana. Murray cooled a bit against the Pacers but don’t be too concerned. He’s still a guy who is going to get you value, especially in a matchup against the Celtics. The Celtics will be out for revenge over “final shot gate” but Murray has proven that he can raise his game in these matchups. He’s played very well against the Celtics over the last two seasons. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
