High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Julius Randle (at DAL – $8,900): Needs 38.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.7 fantasy points against Phoenix. Randle always seems to raise his game against the Mavericks. He’s averaging 39.9 fantasy points in his last seven games against them and that’s before he became the top option with the mess that’s happening in New Orleans. The Mavericks don’t offer much in their frontcourt and Randle’s offense should be enough to carry the Pelicans against them. Randle will step up and deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs NY – $8,300): Needs 36 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.1 fantasy points against Detroit. Don’t worry about Siakam’s performance against the Pistons. It was disappointing but he’s proven himself to be a strong option all season and now he gets the Knicks. This should be an easy night at the office for Siakam although I still worry about the Raptors going through the motions. But if Kawhi (and Lowry) sit, Siakam will be their top option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Derrick Favors (at WAS – $6,800): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.9 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Favors may not be seeing a ton of minutes right now, but he’s playing enough minutes to make a huge impact. I love his game right now and he should be easy money against the Wizards. Even though his salary has jumped above the line, he’s still on the low end compared to the rest of the field. And it’s the Wizards. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
