High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Ben Simmons (at CHA – $8,500): Needs 40 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Simmons has been under 32 fantasy points in three of his last four games but there are two things working in his favor in this game. First, he’s averaging 50.1 fantasy points in three games against the Hornets this season. Second, Joel Embiid will be rested due to a heavy load. Less Embiid means more Simmons. Expect a bounce-back performance from him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Kemba Walker (vs PHI – $8,100): Needs 39.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.5 fantasy points against Miami. It was a rough outing for Kemba against the Heat but much like Simmons has performed well against the Hornets, Kemba has performed well against the Sixers. He’s averaging a whopping 65.7 fantasy points in three games against Philly this season. And with no Embiid, his path to the rim does become a bit easier. Trust this matchup and how Kemba has performed against them this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Chris Paul (at ATL – $7,100): Needs 34.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54.75 fantasy points against Minnesota. Expect more Chris Paul and less James Harden once again for the Rockets. Paul is at a better salary and Harden needs some rest after carrying the Rockets through some of their tougher stretches this season. Paul can carry the load, is at a good salary, and gets the Hawks. If nothing else, he’ll get you value. But expect more given the matchup and circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
