High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

D’Angelo Russell (at SAC – $7,400): Needs 35.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Is Russell back? I don’t know, but the Clippers game is a nice reminder of what he can do. And now he gets the Kings, a matchup where the pace is going to be up and Russell will have another chance to post big numbers. I love his ceiling in this game and he should do enough to at least give you value. LeVert being re-added to the starting lineup actually helps because it does take some pressure off of him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (at MIN – $7,300): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. It’s a back-to-back for the Warriors but it’s also the Warriors. There’s a chance they rest guys in this matchup because they aren’t worried about anything but health at this point. Assuming Klay plays, expect him to keep making shots. He remains a good salary based on his shots and minutes. And it’s the Timberwolves. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Khris Middleton (vs LAL – $6,700): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Middleton has settled into a nice spot and with Brogdon being out of the lineup, Middleton will have to continue to step up as the second option behind Giannis. We know he can do it and we definitely know he can do it against this matchup. It’s the Lakers. You can comfortably bet against the Lakers for the rest of the season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
