High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

JJ Redick (at CHA – $5,200): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Redick looks to be mostly over his shooting slump, hitting four 3s in each of his last three games. His rebounding and assist numbers were down in the last game but expect those numbers to bounce back in this one. He’s averaging 25.7 fantasy points in three games against the Hornets this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

DeMarre Carroll (at SAC – $4,300): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. The Nets are a weird team and I don’t know if it’s going to be Carroll or Kurucs stepping up in this game. But Carroll has been getting the minutes in the last two games and one of them will step up in this game against the Kings. The Kings are always a good matchup and the Nets will take advantage of them. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Landry Shamet (vs IND – $4,000): Needs 18.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.75 fantasy points against Brooklyn. While Carroll might have a higher ceiling, Shamet is the more reliable option. His minutes are not in question and he gets plenty of opportunities in the Clippers offense. The Pacers are on a back-to-back so that should help Shamet and the rest of the Clippers. He remains at a great salary given his minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
