Players costing over $6,667

Karl-Anthony Towns (vs GS – $11,200): Needs 50.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45 fantasy points against Houston. Towns is seeing fewer minutes because the Timberwolves realize there’s no point in playing their 23-year-old franchise player big minutes in meaningless games. He’s still doing enough to be around 50 fantasy points, but the salary remains a bit too high. That said, no Cousins is a good deal for Towns on Tuesday. Hopefully, he can take advantage of the Warriors lack of size with a big performance. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Clint Capela (at ATL – $8,100): Needs 36.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.1 fantasy points against Minnesota. Capela looks back to form and he should have no issues getting points and rebounds against the Hawks. I love Capela in this matchup because the pace will be up and Capela will thrive in that pace. Expect a big game out of Capela. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Boban Marjanovic (at CHA – $6,800): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 8.8 fantasy points against Milwaukee. FanDuel caught on quick that Embiid was going to be out of the lineup and priced Boban into the high salary slot. He’s still on the low end of the list, which is good news. And without Embiid, he should do enough to have a big game. The Hornets are a great matchup with their lack of size. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
