Here’s all the information you need for the March 19, 2019 edition of WWE SmackDown Live.

We are officially inside three weeks away from the annual spectacular known as WWE WrestleMania. And the hottest topic in recent weeks has been Kofi Kingston battling to get a main event spot for the WWE Championship. This week, he has a huge hurdle to overcome to make that happen.

Kicking off WWE SmackDown Live this week will be a gauntlet match, where Kingston will have to survive Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, The Bar (Cesaro and Sheamus) and Rowan. Kingston is no stranger to gauntlet matches and other contests where he has to outlast multiple opponents. But this time, the stakes will be a shot at Daniel Bryan and the WWE Championship.

Last week, Shane McMahon explained why he viciously assaulted The Miz after their tag team loss at Fastlane. He claimed his former partner was “soft” and he felt like he was being held back. McMahon then ordered a match between the two at WrestleMania.

This week, The Miz will break his silence for the first time since Fastlane. What will the most “Must-see superstar” in WWE history have to say about the attack and now the match at WrestleMania?

In addition, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions (Bayley and Sasha Banks) will be on SmackDown Live this week to address The IIconics. What will the champs have to say, and could it have an impact on a possible change of plans at WrestleMania?
