Offensive Tackle. Oklahoma. Cody Ford. 18. player. 60.

The Minnesota Vikings made it all the way to the NFC title game  two years ago, thanks to the right arm of Case Keenum, and an elite defense. In 2018, Keenum was a member of the Denver Broncos, and the defense was not as good as it was the year before, leading the Vikings to miss out on the playoffs.

Still,  this is a  team that should be in the mix for the playoffs in 2019, and they have made some nice moves already this offseason. Bringing in Gary Kubiak to be the assistant head coach was huge, and getting Anthony Barr to not go to the Jets was a huge victory for a defense that needs to be better next season.

An area of need for this Vikings team heading into next season is also up front along the offensive line, where they could afford to bring in a guy like Cody Ford from Oklahoma. Ford is one of the better offensive guard prospects in this draft class, and the Vikings need all the help they can get in front of Kirk Cousins and his weapons.

The hope is that Cousins can lead this team back into the playoffs in 2019, as he put up good numbers last season, but the wins were inconsistent. Running back Dalvin Cook should be better in year two following a severe knee injury, and he will have help, as the team signed Ameer Abdullah this offseason, hoping to bring more explosiveness to the run game.
