2019 NFL mock draft: Giants trade up for Dwayne Haskins
By Brad Weiss
The Tennessee Titans have been making some moves as of late, as they try to get back to the playoffs after barely missing out in 2018. The Titans signed edge rusher Cameron Wake to a three-year deal, and then went out and traded for quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who will serve as the backup to Marcus Mariota next season.
Earlier in the offseason, Tennessee added a solid weapon to their wide receiver group in Adam Humphries, who should serve as a big-time weapon for Mariota next season. Tennessee came very close to making the playoffs last season, losing to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17 at home to clinch a Wild Card, so they will certainly be fired up to get back there in 2019.
When it comes to the current roster, they may want to add some strength in the interior of the defensive line, and Christian Wilkins is a fantastic talent. Wilkins helped the Clemson Tigers to two national titles during his time at the school, and would have been a first round pick had he come out last year as well.
The AFC South is going to be loaded next season, as all the teams have a legitimate shot to win the division in 2019. The Titans need to make sure they bolster the defensive line, because the Jacksonville Jaguars added Nick Foles, so now they have to go against Foles, Deshaun Watson, and Andrew Luck twice a year.
