Brian Burns. 22. player. 26. . Edge. Florida State

The Baltimore Ravens have had a very interesting offseason already, and it all began when they made the commitment to Lamar Jackson as their starting quarterback. The Ravens agreed to trade Joe Flacco to  the Denver Broncos long before the league year started, and it was made official last week.

With Jackson as the clear starter in Baltimore, the team went out and got him an elite running back bringing in Mark Ingram from the New Orleans Saints. While the offense should be solid with Ingram in the backfield, the defense has certainly taken a hit, as they released Eric Weddle, and saw C.J. Mosley and Terrell Suggs leave via free agency.

When it comes to revamping this roster, the Ravens need to do something to get help on the edge, and Brian Burns from Florida State could be a perfect fit for them in 2019, and beyond. Burns is one of the more NFL-ready edge rushers in this draft class, and this  team needs someone to replace Suggs, who was the heart and soul of this defense.

Burns was only only an elite edge rusher at Florida State, but one of the better tacklers in the country, so he fills two needs on this Ravens defense. Baltimore has the talent to be a playoff team in 2019, and in a division that should be wide open, bringing in the right pieces this offseason will be crucial.
